Leaving this as a note for anyone wondering -- unfortunately there's no update for The Sounds Resource this month (February), hopefully next month's update will make up for it.

@jimmychobes: I'll be having a look through those later this month, don't worry. From my first glance, they seem alright. (I'm just kinda annoyed with Blizzard specifically for re-encoding all of the sounds when they didn't need to, otherwise the new sounds could've just been added to the original Overwatch section instead. Not your fault, of course, just something trivial that bugs me.)

@specularbark45 The task complete jingle is actually just the sound used for collecting coins and exiting the pause menu, played back in a sequence at different sample rates. In order to rip it you need would both the coin sound and the jingle note sequence data. The coin sound can't be ripped with PSound, for whatever reason it doesn't detect it when scanning the game's ".VB" files, but it be can ripped using a command line tool called PSXSND by SMON. As for the sequence data, I assume its stored in some in the ".BIN" files found on the game disc, but it doesn't look like there's any easy way to extract them.

seems like the Episode Metal archive was erroneously uploaded under "General Sound Effects" - this is a misleading name since it only has Metal's sounds and some from Episode I. the game loads only one of the CSBs depending on the stage, so the generic sounds are included with the stage sounds. dumb way of doing it but that's how it's set up
