Finally it's uploaded, I have been waiting for this. I'm doing some research in the game and I would like to know how the sounds effects were ripped. |

@YiyaRoxie: It's been said a while ago that the VGresource accepts only self-made submissions. If you submit the sound from other site, you'll be banned, so the answer is no. |

@Random Talking Bush @Saadexe They actually were originally uploaded to the queue last year but they were not well organized at all, so I took them down some time months ago. Then I started over recently. Cleaned up the file names and reuploaded them in October. Happy to see them finally up. (: |

That's true. It may be in obvious places to us but I think it's still being missed, especially by newer users. I'm not sure if anything more can be done to help people understand. |

There's an entire sticky thread on the forum dedicated to this very topic. On top of that, the number of pending submissions is visible to everyone from the stats page. So really, there's no excuse for this question to be asked so often. |

I think a general disclaimer would be good for why submissions take time. Maybe have it copy/pasted for every update or even for the uploads page. I used to feel impatient/nervous before I started interacting more with the community. |

@Murnjendoof: It's likely due to the sample rates for those sounds being really low. I've added "upsampled" versions of those sounds (converted to 32kHz) while keeping the originals alongside them. |

@SteamyJ: Yep! Got a new processor / motherboard set thanks to a friend of mine last month (they upgraded not too long ago and didn't need their old less-than-two-years-old rig anymore), and after installing it in place of my old build, it's been working great ever since. @Dark_Ansem: Certainly a lot more than the last couple of months's updates, that's for sure. Queue's still about as backlogged, but I'll be around doing what I can to help sort out the remaining submissions in the upcoming months. |

Doorhenge got banned, because he posted the Super Mario 64 sound effects .ZIP file which has files dated June 3rd, 2006, which predates the creation of The Sounds Resource! In other words, it should be noted that this soundrip was created before The Sounds Resource opened or was even created! This soundpack was actually created by the former MFGG administrator Trasher, not the user who submitted it on The Sounds Resource! |

What a splendid new update! I have an update for my Top Gear 3000 sounds still currently pending after discovering more sounds, but I can always continue to hold on as the pending approval batch is pretty big list, I believe. Good luck, folks! |

Is anyone planning on submitting Pokémon cries here specifically? It would make a lot more sense to have them all here instead of spread out across different consoles and games, plus no one has posted the new cries added in Legends Arceus, Eevee's anime voice cry in SwSh/BDSP, or Pikachu's old cry that returned in BDSP/PLA. |
