@TheWGD Correct. They were introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3. The thwomp sound used in the .zip file is actually the explosion/firework sound. |

@Super Mario 64 Beta Explorer Just a small correction, but the original Super Mario Bros. was released during 1985-1987. The version with that release year is the Super Mario All-Stars version for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. |

@Majutsukai: Yes, I checked the game's sound_data.sdat file and I found the same sounds uploaded here. It's likely that the game's sounds are sequenced using these. |

Are we quite sure this is actually from FF4DS? I don't recognize a single sound in here, and many of them do not sound like they came from a DS game. The same applies to the "Other" files also submitted under this game. Is it possible these were misfiled or submitted under the wrong game? |

@PokeyLover:] hi! i was actually able to rip the voices for the characters as well as sound effects. it was a somewhat painful process but it definitely is possible; there were a lot of duplicate files, the file names are "gibberish" and the order for each file is messy, making the sorting process more painful than ripping the sounds. i'm waiting for the ones i submitted to be accepted (i have the mage sisters' voice files left to sort, and i'll submit those too once i'm done with that) hope my comment makes sense! |
