Sample rate on most sounds is too high, despite being exactly how it is when ripped. The game probably does something to play the samples at the correct rate, but I'm not quite sure what it is. |

unfortunately, looks like the jingles and such are gonna have to wait awhile, should I upload what I have at the moment? (Which are a majority of the games sound effects) Or should I wait until I can see if I can get my hands on them all? |

Actually it plays all the time in the menu, mainly because it's actually a MIDI sample that's used in the menu's music track, not a standard sound effect. It may be hard to tell because it's not played anywhere near the sound's base frequency (32 KHz), but it becomes more obvious when you slow the sample down to about 25% or 37.5% speed. |

@Springlocks The PlayStation Bootup uses only 3 sound effects stored in it's memory and each sound is played at various sample rates and speeds. |

It does indeed. All Site Staff have access to the submission queue on all sites. DogToon64 will primarily be focusing on sounds though. |
