@Garamonde Okay wait, what exactly did he say that's ignorant? Are you disagreeing that people should be called "people" instead of "black" or "white", or that people should be educated? In what possible way is he spreading negativity? What he said seems fairly agreeable to me. Also why exactly are you attempting to educate people on this kind of subject on a website meant for sharing ripped video game assets and then acting like it's ridiculous that people are pointing out that this is not in fact the place to discuss this kind of subject matter? People aren't coming here for political discussion, they're coming here to download some sprites and video game models. Not everyone wants to be constantly reminded of how shitty reality is everywhere they go, and that doesn't make them ignorant or against BLM. It honestly seems like you're the one spreading negativity. What in the fuck is up with this website. |

@PrabowoMuhammad23 They only did one per franchise, to keep the main focus on the Incredibles. Also, Forky, Ian, and Barley wouldn't be in the game even if this wasn't true, since this game released alongside Incredibles 2, and before Toy Story 4 or Onward. Edit: I apparently also don't know how to tag people. |

I know these games are on discs in a caddy that makes getting the discs out annoying, and there are iso dumps of these games online, but how are these on here? There is no emulator I know of for this system, this system is super hard to find info on. |

I'm relatively new to this site, but I just want to say thank you to the administrator(s) who posted this. If people need an example of how these issues can be relevant to the gaming community, just think about how many games you know of which feature black protagonists, or even more rare, games which have black faces and bodies on their cover/box art. Apart from sports games, they're definitely few and far in-between. I don't necessarily think the gaming community is deliberately racist, but there is definitely a kind of systemic, built-in anti-blackness where whiteness is seen as the "default," even in places like Japan. Things have gotten better over the past decade or so, but there is still a long way to go. |

The only one spreading ignorance is you, honestly. We've tried educating people (you can see this for yourself on the past two Spriters Resource updates) and look where that gets us? If you actually wanted to end systemic racism, then you wouldn't even call people black. People are human beings, not skin colors. And if you actually wanted to end systemic racism, then you would seek to educate ignorant people instead of just scolding them for being "on the wrong side of history" like some holier-than-thou priest. Racists are ignorant people who just need to learn the facts. If you act like they're cartoon villains, they're just going to fight harder against decency, *especially* if you talk like an arrogant preacher instead of a fellow human being. Like Dr. King, I want to bring people together through understanding. You just want to stir up an us-vs-them attitude that will make understanding even harder. Black Americans are NOT passive weaklings who need your pity. That is one of the most insulting racist ideas today. We need respect, not pity from egotists like you. Being a "nice guy" racist does NOT make your brand of racism OK. If you delete this comment, you are a coward and an enemy of equality. Phew, it's been a long while but all of the sounds currently here are finally up-to-date with v1.48. Only took me a decade to sort 'em all out... I'll aim for getting the other 7 languages up before the month's over, if not then I'll at least have a few more added. (EDIT: One down so far!) |
